JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for managing and tracking the Company’s Fixed Assets and Depreciation

schedules for all locations. This position is also responsible for managing the Company’s Property

Casualty and Liability Insurance for all business and real estate entities.

Fixed Asset responsibilities include:

• Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets

• Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets

• Assign tag numbers to fixed assets, ensuring all assets are tagged

• Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system

• Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts

once the related projects have been completed

• Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the

general ledger

• Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets

• Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation

• Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets

• Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets

• Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management

• Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries

• Prepare property tax returns

• Proactively manage, prepare, and renew the vehicle registrations and titling for company owned

and leased vehicles as well as vehicles manufactured by the company

• Track and record capital expenditures

• Support Mergers and Acquisitions related to fixed assets, including integrating all fixed assets

into Armor system with accurate values after purchase

Property Casualty and Liability Insurance:

• Manage company’s Property Casualty and Liability insurance policies for all business and real

estate entities

• Correspond with third party brokers to establish the coverage needs, adjusting coverage as

needed

• Maintain complete schedule of policies with renewal dates and coverage detail

• Case manage Property Casualty, Liability, and Automotive/Vehicle insurance claims

General Responsibilities include:

This position interacts with Senior Management leaders, third party insurance agents, as well as the

accounting team.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Staff Accounting or Finance is required

• 3 years of previous experience in managing assets

• 3 years of previous experience in Property Casualty and Liability Insurance

• Working knowledge of US GAAP required

• Working knowledge of computer financial accounting systems and Microsoft Excel required
